“Hosts were very welcoming from when we first booked to waving goodbye to us. We loved every minute there. Rec’d relevant helpful info pre-travel, house was precisely, exactly as described and photographed. Location is outstanding, on a magnificent secluded beach that’s between 2 of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen: French Leave and Twin Cove, all easily walkable. House has windows/doors that allow for gorgeous tropical breezes all day and night, you can hear waves on the ocean crashing all night long; beautiful way to fall asleep. Full-size kitchen was very well-stocked, everything you’d need to make your own meals. House is easy to keep clean, it’s not rough, nor is it precious, comfortably in-between. Glorious outside shower. Comfy Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges in the wrap-around porch. There’s a magical thatched-roof patio perched above the sea, absolutely perfect place for naps, crossword puzzles, watching the waves, talking, hors d’oeuvres. We spent several hours each night on the deck loungers, wrapped in cozy blankets watching the INSANE nighttime sky, the stars were so bright, it was as tho they were “plugged in”. An absolutely perfect place to stay in Eleuthera.”

“Our stay in Governor’s Harbour was unforgettable. The private cabana and beach were absolutely stunning — peaceful, secluded, and even more beautiful than the photos. We loved having our own quiet stretch of sand with crystal-clear water just steps away.The Round House itself is truly unique, with its 360-degree wraparound deck that lets you enjoy sunrise, sunset, and ocean breezes from every angle. It’s a special place unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed.The host was incredibly welcoming and always reachable if we had any questions, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and memorable stay in Eleuthera. “We LOVE the round house! We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 14, 17) and have stayed here two years in a row. There’s plenty of room and Doon and Taja go out of their way to make sure we have what we need. We love hearing the waves crash while we sleep with the beach only about 20 steps away. We hardly ever saw another car pass by the house or person on the beach. We love to walk to French Leave or Twin Coves. Two beautiful beaches just a short walk away with barely any people! The rental car was perfect for exploring the island and going out to dinner. If you’re the kind of person who likes resorts, pools, waitstaff and pristine conditions this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy fresh coconut in your backyard, a beach to yourself, and an overall feeling of peace, then the round house is your place.”

“My wife and I have stayed in many places around the world, and I must say that our 2 weeks at the Roundhouse was a truly wonderful experience and one of the best two weeks we have had. This place is loaded with soul and charm. It is the opposite of a pre-fab condo environment. This is the real thing, built with creativity and love and reflects he owners artistic and joyful personality. It is also very comfortable and practical. Yes it is a bit remote, but that is a big part of its value. The beach and ocean there is stunning and almost entirely private almost all the time. The swimming and snorkeling there is terrific and safe. The community nearby in Governor’s Harbor, is small but friendly and interesting. We used this time for relaxing, reading , writing, exercise and general all around rejuvenation and it was perfect for that purpose. We want to come back yearly now and try to keep that remarkable vibe going.”
